Yup as YX as proposed, a class T is in the pipeline. BTW, this is the second time that I’m writing this cos the first time a wrote a MAN long message and it got deleted due the stupid internet-error-message-would-you-like-to-send-a-report? So long story short, designers of the class please post up ideas!
I guess we could approach this two ways. 1) Whoever wants to design can post up on the blog and then we will vote. Or 2) We design the thing as a class so as many design suggestions as possible are incorporated. I guess we’ll see how it goes and take it from there.
But first things first, here are some random guidelines/questions I’d like to ask/tell the class to make the whole thing easier i.e. for designers, ideas generation etc.
a) Must have all 29 names! :) b) I approximate the price of each shirt to around $9 to $11. Price is inversely proportionate to number of shirts printed but proportionate to the number of colours used, size and area covered by the design. c) The teachers probably expect us to buy a shirt each for them, as all (well, most anyway) teachers see befitting of their unwavering support for their pupils and unfaltering dedication to see that we attend all lectures and tutorials. d) This means that we have to raise another GP P C M E + Mrs Cheang + Ms Low Hwee San (i.e. 7) * $10 (average of 9 and 11) = a lot of money ($70) / 28 people in class (minus Nic who we will claim from later plus Phoebe who is willing and able to pay) = $2.50 extra per person. e) You CANNOT exclude any teacher (save PW) on the grounds of equity. If you wish to do so, please relook at c). I guess Mrs Cheang and Ms Low deserve a shirt too for all they’ve done for us. f) This also means extra work for Ongnardo. Sorry dude.
OK. So second things second, please answer these questions on the tag board!!
1) What colour scheme would you like? Black base with green and blue? White base with orange, blue and red? Etc etc.. 2) Do you think that there should be a mascot/symbol that is representative of 07SO6E? 3) What is the overall design scheme? How will the shirt look? Grundge? Goth? Billabong? Or just the normal standard shirt with squiggly lines and cursive font with our names printed on the back? :/
Yup so do give the shirt some thought and post up whatever fun/weird/cool ideas on the tag board! For now anything goes cos we just need inspiration and some ideas to work with. And if you go shopping and find some nice designs take pictures with your camera phone and paste it up on the blog!!
